Pembrokeshire Farmers' Markets

Pembrokeshire Farmers' Markets

Personally speaking, we now find the Haverfordwest Farmers’ Market (held fortnightly at the Riverside Quay) to be an indispensable part of our shopping routine. Being vegans, we buy from just three stalls regularly; vegetarians would have several more egg and cheese options. However, we never feel we’re missing out, as the breadth of fresh produce on offer from our regular suppliers is always good, sometimes amazing. From staples like spuds, roots and brassicas, summer crops like tomatoes and aubergines, through to more “luxury veg†like asparagus, there’s always something on offer.

We particularly recommend West Atheston Farm and Barn Produce for their all year round fabulous vegetables, and the wonderful soft fruit and asparagus from Springfields. If you can tell fellow veggies about the eggs and cheese, please email us with a review.
